S/S 2012 Challenge #17: All That Jazz

“Art deco is the architectural motif of the moment with pastel marabou and shimmering crystals in abundance. Stick to a decadent palette of black,
white and gold.” net-a-porter

While the United States of America is celebrating their big day of red, white, and blue with fireworks and barbeques; the rest of the world can consider taking part by donning decadent colors of black, white, and gold.

black white and gold

I took inspiration from Gucci’s SS12 black white and gold and fringe details collection; and styled a classy black, white, and gold fringed necklace with a deep-V bare-back jumpsuit.

As we are closing in towards the end of Summer (and the Spring/Summer trend challenge), I started seeing the trend where I repeat what I like. And in this case, it’s a very similar case to the “Hot under the Collar” challenge with the statement necklace.

This was a perfect way to update a plain but interesting black jumpsuit – which I simply adore because it’s super comfy, and as you can tell from the many photos on this post, I was having fun!
